Meet the team

'Memory Lane' is a celebration of nostalgia, exploring how the past shapes our creativity today. Through digital media, we reimagine the aesthetics, culture, and emotions of the 1960s–2000s, offering a fresh perspective on familiar eras. This exhibition is important because it connects generations, sparking reflection on how history influences design, fashion, and media. We hope to inspire engagement with the past while reinterpreting it for the present, creating a dialogue between memory and innovation

"Hi, My name is Ralph and I specialise in Product and Landscape Photography. But I do also just like using  my camera to capture the moment so am never afraid to experiment. I didn't always have a passion for photography, I used to have a passion for textiles. But during the Duke of Edinburgh I chose to do photography as my skill for that and since then I haven't been able to put my camera down."

Gavin McDermott

3D Visualisation

“Hi, I’m Gavin. Until recently I worked a factory job performing repetitive tasks for most of my week, eventually I reached a breaking point and had to quit without notice. I wondered where I should take my life after that moment, then realised it was the start of summer, and could look into various courses that I thought interested me. Eventually, I wound up in this Digital Design and Media pathway, fulfilling the creative hole I had whilst at the factory. By the time I'm done at Yeovil college, I hope to be on the road towards a career in videogame design, eventually leading a moderately sized project to call my own!”
